It is based on a design created for Liberty in the 1940s by Rex Silver of the Silver Studio – one of the most influential textile design studios in Britain, from its formation in 1880 until the middle of the twentieth century. This lightweight fabric has been woven with a slubby linen/cotton yarn creating an earthy fabric with a dry, natural hand feel with naturally occurring slubs throughout.
